41 States Endorse
Intergeneration Day.

Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe signed a Proclamation for "Intergeneration Day In Arkansas", making Arkansas the 39th state to issue a proclamation recognizing Intergeneration Day. We would like to thank our Arkansas Co-Sponsors who made this possible: Susan Keuhner with Arkansas AARP (www.aarp.org) and Dee Ann Newell with Arkansas Voices (www.arkansasvoices.org) graciously stepped up as co sponsors for Intergeneration Foundation. Thanks to their support, we are one state closer to having all 50 states recognize Intergeneration Day.

Additionally, Dee Ann Newell reports that Arkansas Voices will hold an Intergeneration Day event at the State Capitol, having a representative from the Governor's office read the Proclamation at that time.

Help us make it a truly national event.  If you represent an organization in one of the states where we are still seeking endorsement ( Georgia, Kentucky,  Louisiana, New York, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming) and would like to co-sponsor a request for endorsement,  please contact Cydney Campbell, Executive Director.
