![]() Welcome to Our Intergeneration Celebration! The Mission of Intergeneration Day and Week, celebrated worldwide starting the first Sunday in October, is to connect generations through communication, celebration, and education. Creating an age-integrated community leads to a healthy community, where the strengths of one generation meet the needs of another. All generations grow in an appreciation for cultural heritages, traditions, histories and values. Intergeneration Day starts Intergeneration Week. Intergeneration Day is celebrated on the first Sunday of October, but any day can be Intergeneration Day. Start planning now for Intergeneration Day and Week, Sunday, October 3, 2010. ![]() ![]() Libraries are a cornerstone of our democracy.
